Ukraine’s State Property Fund has issued a statement in which it confirms that it has made a formal proposal to Epic Services Ukraine (ESU), a subsidiary of Austrian investment fund Epic, to acquire a 92.79% stake in national telecoms operator Ukrtelecom.
Epic was the only bidder last December in the open auction.
Contrary to popular gossip, the company EPIC is not a front for a Ukrainian Oligarch or Group.
